At the Spring Meeting there was some obvious disquiet regarding the changes to the League that Clubs had voted for at the AGM. The Board agreed to take away these concerns and discuss them with the Council. This we did this morning. We have modified the original proposals, in recognition of the feedback we have received, and hope Clubs will find this an acceptable compromise.

The Premier Divisions will now be split into four divisions of 6 teams. The Regional Divisions will continue with a maximum of 8 teams.

A breakdown of how the changes will work going into the 2025 season follows-

The Prem One will stay and form County Prem, Prem two will be renamed County One, and two new league will be named County Two and County Three.

All other regional Leagues will stay the same.ie. Southwest One, Two, Three. This will take place after the 2024 season and promotion and relegation will still take place in 2024.

If you take the Prem one and two which have twenty-four teams in both, we will reduce these to six teams per league making four leagues. Allowing home and away per team playing ten games over fourteen weeks in the season, in the present format we use eighteen weeks to complete the league season.

How this would work to get eight teams per League.

County Two- 11K,12L,3O,4P.5Q,6R. These team finishing eleventh and twelfth position of Prem one

And third to sixth position in prem two will make up the new County Two league for 2025.
