The A team gained a creditable 7-5 winning draw away to Yeovil while the B team lost 12-0 at Crewkerne. Both matches were impacted by the poor state of the away club's green. Members who perhaps don't play many away matches may not fully appreciate how lucky we are to have one of the best greens in southwest England.

There is free parking in the Leisure Centre car park which is immediately adjacent to the Bowling Club. Wheelchair access is via the ramp at the corner of the green where Corams Lane joins Springfield Road.
