With the indoor season finished, our attention turns to outdoors. The TT enters its’ 91st running in 2026, & the 97th year since it started in 1929.
We are moving forward strongly towards our “Centenary Year” event in 2029. In 2025 we had 300+ different players at “The TT”. Entries are nearly 50% full, as the outdoor season just starts. Please consider getting your entry in now, so you don’t miss out. Last year we had waiting lists in nearly all events. (If you’ve already entered & have a confirmation e-mail from Ernie, you don’t need to do anything, as you are recorded on our list. If you haven’t received a confirmation e-mail, or you have a query, please let us know, asap).
We are excited that The TT has grown so much that we have now officially increased our capacity for entries by formally voting Abbrook Park BC in as our 4th venue. This was very successful in 2025, being used for the Men’s Pairs.
We are one of the highest prize payout tournaments in outdoor bowls in the UK, with a prize fund pot of over £7500. To this end we are eternally grateful to all of our sponsors, without whom the event would not happen. We are committed to accommodating all bowlers, by making the events short & sharp (over 1 or 2 days) & by having a variety of events. Most TT events are on a "Round Robin" basis, followed by a KO, giving great value for money. We’re proud that we continue to attract bowlers from all over the country, & we would love the opportunity to welcome bowlers from your club to this year’s event, extending our entry base to further parts of England & Wales.

The area is of “outstanding natural beauty”, with plenty of quality places to stay, eat & drink. Also, there are many other leisure activities to do outside of bowling in the area. All 4 clubs are set in beautiful surroundings; The den-BiTTon parK-shaldon-aBBrooK parK The full list of events for 2026 are;
