Bowls England has produced a set of FAQs which I've uploaded to the Coronavirus Updates section of the website.

In summary-

Much of what is said repeats/clarifies earlier guidance, but four key points:

  • BE wish to encourage all club members to pay their 2020 subscriptions. Clubs will need this income to ensure they are able to survive till bowling resumes.
  • 2020 BE Affiliation fees will be returned to Clubs, but this could take a number of weeks to achieve.
  • BE will be seeking and issuing guidance on ‘casual play’.
  • BE will also be issuing guidance on the minimum maintenance required to ensure your green is playable when bowling resumes.
