Dear Member

Gerry Mangeolles has asked me to send the following to you:

Preparations for the indoor bowling season for 2021 – 2022 are being made. The format for leagues, roll ups and competitions will remain and, as our membership changes, we welcome all new and existing members to play in these events. Please look at the notice board for contact details where you can get fixed up to play. Richard Manning has kindly agreed to continue working with new bowlers on a Friday morning which greatly helps with adjusting to the speed of indoor bowling. Coaching throughout the week can be obtained from Richard Whiting, Martin Speakman and Richard Manning. Again contact details will be available on the indoor notice board.

For those yet to pay for indoor bowling for 2021 -2022, it remains at £15.00. Rink fees for the lights also remain as previous.

4 teams have withdrawn from leagues. They are the Falcons (afternoon league), Hasbeens & Wellington 4 (mens league) and the Nomads (weekend mixed triples league). If any bowlers from these teams wish to play with another side, please contact me on 07932 947212.

The indoor rink now has increased ventilation installed since Covid and where games come to an end the incoming bowlers must wait in the clubhouse to allow the outgoing bowlers to leave the rink. Bowling will continue to be under the guidance of Bowls England and any amendments issued.

Apologies if I have missed anything out. Please note any help on the administration of the indoor bowling is always appreciated.

Kind Regards

Gerry Mangeolles Mob 07932 947212
