Click above for the final ladies league tables. Below is a message from the league secretary-
The outdoor bowling season is coming to a close and I am very pleased to see that most of the games were completed despite the Covid restrictions and a few problems with the weather.
Congratulations to winners, Taunton Deane, who managed to play all their games well ahead of everyone. In the last few weeks there were three clubs trying unsuccessfully to pass Taunton Deane's impressive score.
Five games were not played and so the final results (attached) have been adjusted in accordance with the new rule agreed in 2019. Out of curiosity, I did a test to see if the results would have been different if the old penalty scheme had been used. The final positions would have been the same with Taunton Deane and Yeovil at equal points, but TD having more shots for, and a better shot difference.
The ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING will be held at Taunton Deane Bowling Club on Monday 18th October 2021. Please let me know within the next week if there are any topics your club would like to discuss.
Regards to all,
Glynne Jones
League Secretary
